As president of the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston - F A C C G H and National Secretary of the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce (FPACC), it was an honor to have been invited to attend and celebrate Kartini Day at the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston together with other women community leaders.
** Kartini Day is an Indonesian holiday celebrated in memory of Ajeng Kartini's birth, a national heroine honoured for her efforts in fighting for women's rights. Raden Ajeng Kartini was born on the 21st of April 1879 and is one of Indonesia’s most revered figures.
