relief operations
for typhoon odette

The Filipino American Chamber of Commerce Greater Houston (FACCGH ) would like to give you an update on FACCGH’s relief operations being conducted in Southern Philippines, hardest hit by super typhoon Odette (Rai).

This is from our partner, Chairman and Administrator Atty. Wilma “Amy” Eisma of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority:

Your donations are on the way to Siargao Island!

Close to 8,000 kilos of water, rice, canned goods, hygiene kits and beddings were brought to Manila today, December 27, 2021 for plane transport through the generosity of former SBMA Director now DENR Undersecretary Benny Antiporda.

We are grateful for all your support!

AMDG!

For your help and inquiries email us filamchambergh@gmail.com Thank you. Together we can do a lot!

So far we are helping in the water distribution in northern Cebu; we are supporting relief operations in Siargao; road clearing in Surigao , next we will be moving to Dinagat island where people have no shelters. The whole coastline has been wiped clean and trees have been uprooted. We are indebted to SBMA especially to the Chairman and Administrator for making all of these possible. We are also grateful to the men and women of SBMA and to their core of volunteers especially to the SBMA Fire Department, for doing all the ‘weightlifting’ and ground operations. May God bless you all a thousandfold.
